• Treating yourself to regular facials is the ultimate TLC for your skin. Facials help with prevention and maintenance of your skin. Facials use professional grade products that deep clean, cleanse, exfoliate, hydrate and brighten your complexion. The light massage will increase circulation and support lymphatic drainage.
  • Regular facials and a good skincare regimen are the fundamental steps to preventing acne breakouts, fine lines, aging, dry skin, etc. Facials promote nourished, clear and toned skin, in a similar sense to what exercise does for your body!
  • Another great plus is the fresh, dewy glow and baby smooth skin post-facial – not to mention the relaxation of getting a facial gives you!

Why should you get a Facial?

Facials

Before your next appointment, it’s always a great idea to take as good care of your skin as you can. Talk to your esthetician about your skincare regimen.
  • Please do not touch, pop or pick at your skin. Avoid touching your face at any given moment. Your skin is sensitive after a facial.
  • If you love to squeeze pimples and blackheads, please discuss with your esthetician so you have the proper tools for at home extractions. We do not want you scarring your face.
  • For 24 hours post facial please try not to wear makeup if you don’t have too. Your pores are more open than usual and are prone to more bacteria moving in (that may be on your dirty makeup sponge or brush).
  • Make sure you are washing your makeup brushes and applicators often to avoid acne-causing bacteria.
  • Wash your skin gently. Remember, your skin is extremely sensitive after a facial so you’ll want to be gentle to avoid irritation. After your facial, make sure to go with a gentle and/or hydrating cleanser. No harsh wash clothes or clarsonics.
  • Please avoid workouts the day of your facial. The increased heat in the skin and sweat can be irritating to your freshly treated skin, not to mention it can harbor bacteria.
  • Please do not exfoliate for 48-72 hours post facial. Over-exfoliating can damage your skin and can lead to inflammation.
If you have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to call, text or video chat your provider or the clinic at any time.
