- Treated areas may be slightly red, swollen, slightly irregular and bruised for the first 2-5 days.
- Slight discomfort in the first 24-48 hours post treatment is normal and will gradually resolve.
- If you notice a thread protruding from your skin, redness or bumps around the insertion site or a puckering of the skin in the treated area, please contact your provider.
- You will have immediate results; however, full results of your treatment take 4-6 weeks. Please wait until the full 6 weeks before assessing the results of your treatment.
- If you have any questions or concerns, never hesitate to reach out to your provider or the clinic at any time via phone, text or video chat.
- A 2-week post treatment follow up via in-person or photo-virtual follow up is recommended.
Contact the Office Immediately if any of the Following Signs of Infection Occur:
- Drainage – looks like pus from the treatment area.
- Increased warmth at or around the treated area.
- Fever of 101.5 or greater.
- Severe pain that is unresponsive to over-the-counter pain relievers.
